my gpa: 3.5 overall at ucsd biology major

volunteer experience: 2 years hospital, dispatching patients, helping patients by bringing them food, talking with them,etc

pharm experience: none yet! i applied to various places with pharmarcy clerk openings but i didnt get in any yet...im still searching

pcat: did not take, planning to take in summer.

jobs: 1 year at abercrombie at fitch.. (should i put this on my app, cause i dont think they would care if i worked there)
1 year private tutoring (english, math, chemistry)

Good chance. Don't even bother with the PCAT. It is a joke. Focus more on getting pharmacy experience.
 
polish up ur apps and cross ur fingers for an interview. blow them away when u meet them, and ur in!

APPLY EARLY. you have good stats however USC bases a lot on applying early. for ex: first of four interview date was in november and they accepted ~65 ( somewhere near there) out of 150. the third interview date, Feb, they accepted ~24 out of 148. not to mention, the people that apply early are also considered for the later interview dates. however, state schools like UCSF and UCSD they don't look at apps until the last day - even if u post marked it nov 1 you have the same chance as someone who turned the apps in in June. hope its helps
