Sorry for this but I'm worried about my chances to these schools. Tufts and NYU
Application sent to AADSAS late September.
GPA 3.43-3.48
sGPA 3.32-3.34
DAT AA/TS/PAT
......19/21/19

I don't know about Tufts (I didn't apply there so I haven't been following threads/info regarding it) but I think you'll get an NYU interview with those stats. See predents.com, people with similar stats have gotten interviews. GL.

I have an interview at tufts ... check out my predents. Im wondering the same about nyu as I have heard nothing back from them

I think it will all come down to your luck.

Your stats basically tell who you are. However, you need a luck to be chosen to have interviews with dental schools.

I applied in EARLY June and completed everything at least 3 months ago. And I still haven't heard from NYU, BU or TUFTS.

My stat is slightly above yours, but I don't think it makes that different.

I'm not so sure I believe luck has anything to do with anybody getting into dental school. Maybe it has to do with what kind of interviewer you get, but regardless you must have the stats, PS, and LORs to score that interview in the first place.

Regarding NYU, keep in mind how many applicants they get each year. It takes them longer to file through all of the applications. Although my application was received by all of the schools a while ago now, I just last week got an email from NYU that my application there was complete and is undergoing review.

Just be patient. Your application was sent to AADSAS in late Sept... so its only been a month. Im sure schools will be receiving your file soon, if they haven't already.
