Hey everyone... I just took the DAT and am very happy with my scores except for a few sections. I got a
21 overall,
21 total science,
20 biology,
30 o-chem,
17 gen-chem,
21 PA,
22 reading
15 QA.
What i want to know is if you think those my QA and gen chem will keep me out of dental school. Thanks for your help!

I think your total science is wrong? Is that what it says on your print out? When you take the average of the Natural sciences section, it doesn't come out to 21?? i get 22.3333 which should be a 22...

TS is not calculated based on the average of the three scores. It is based on the total amount of questions out of 100 that are correct.

Thanks for the clarification, I thought it was just the average... back to the question asked, I think that your scores are good overall, but I know some schools have say a 17 cutoff on every section to be considered so you might want to call the schools and ask
