Taking CK in 1 week. USMLEWorld- 63%, Kaplan q-bank- 73%, NBME test 1- 570 (233). Not feeling very confident, a lot of questions seem familiar, but have to guess.
What are my chances? Would love to get above 90 (Step 1- 240/97, but studied much longer)
Thanks

The NBME tests are usually right on the mark, not much you can do in a week anyways.

Is there any point to take NBME 2 and 3?
Thanks

Probably no use to pay for more of those tests (unless you want the practice). I actually did better on the real thing than I did on the practice and I only took the practice 5 days before the real thing (and promptly stopped studying because I was content with that score). I think you'll beat 90 with those numbers. I was in the sixties on q-bank and got a similar NBME score to you and ended up with a 99. Of course the day of the test I got into the second block and I was sure I was going to fail! Don't worry, it's not easy by any means, but it's not as bad as step I. Good luck!

Thank you, Wednesday, you really make me feel better.

Took step 2 yesterday and it seemed way harder than the 2 NBME tests I did. Considerably more guessing.

For what it is worth...
I studied for step 1 last summer and used the NBME "assessment" about 1 week before the real deal. it said 240, but I thought it was bit easy and I was just getting lucky.
Took the real deal and thought it was hard, much harder than the "assessment." anyway, 4 weeks later...got a 240 on real deal.
I think the NBME knows what they are doing (they should WE pay them enough!!!). so now just relax-it's over and
CONGRATS!
