So here is my latest fit of agony.

I just did Destroyer bio (1-90) and missed like 20 out the 90. Without reveiwing the answers and studying what I missed I took TS bio test 1 and scored a 17 (ouch) 😱.

Keep in mind though that the majority of things that I missed in Destroyer I have yet to review (my only saving grace). I am using Schaums and KBB along with the usual TS, Achiever and various online resorces.

So how horrible is my progress if I am anticipating taking the DAT late August?

I did AP Cliffs, found it easy...started Shaums and it is crazy...too detailed in some parts.
Don't forget Destroyer is supposed to be harder than the real deal and as long as you are missing the hard Destroyer ones then you are safe, I think.

Cliff's is soooooooo much easier to read compared to Shaums... kk although it leaves a lot of details.

I almost fell asleep today reading about the plants in Shaums

Don't worry too much if it's your first time going over destroyer, besides if you have till end of August you have nothing to worry about.

I usually did 50 bio at a time and would get 10-20 wrong so you're not doing too bad ....make sure you know all of the right and wrong answers and go over them several times. You have a whole month to learn it! Like someone said, schaums is way too detailed but it's a nice reference to use if you don't understand something. I also found it really good to learn plants since its not really covered in Kaplan. I got a 20 in bio so I guess you can use that as encouragement unless you're looking for a 25!

Hey, i got 22 bio, and i'd say 70% credit goes to Schaum's, 20% goes to AP cliffs, and 10% goes to Destroyer.

and yes destroyer is hard! i got most of them wrong the firs ttime i do it..but don't forget that it's a study guide too. it's meant to help find ur weaknesses so u can study it. gL!
