Hi,
I just took the DAT today and I got:
-AA:22
-PAT:18
-QR:21
-RC:22
-BIOL:21
-GEN:23
-ORG:22
-TS:22
First I would like to thank all the people that have posted their stats and shared their experience.
About the test:
-biology-I found it similar to topscore.I think I had 2 questions that I had no clue about, but overall it was not that bad.
-gen chem-I though it was very easy, not so many calculation.I did have some logs, but nothing impossible.
-organic-easy.That was my best subject and I had only one question that I was not sure of-some resonance structures.I was suprised I got only 22.
-pat-more difficlut than all the available tests. As otther people before me said this, I had the feeling that I'm seeing triangles in the counting cubes section 🙂 and the lines in the angles were interrupted and not straight.I never got less than 20 on pat on top score or kaplan. The last top score I took-nr 3- I got 24 on pat.
-reading-long texts: two were 19 paragraphs long and one was 20.I was very tired after this section.
-math:-like top score, a lot of calculations.I had to calc a SD for some numbers that were not that small...Some trig and probabilities but not that difficult.I would have actually preferred more trig and prob than all those calculations.
Overall,I think the DAT is a very difficult test. You should not take it unless you're well prepared. Also, make sure you get enough sleep and a good rest before the test.

Congratulations!

You made it!... BIG TIME!

Whats your GPA? and what schools are you applying to?

My GPA is 4.0 for the prereq that I took in the US, and 3.84 science and 3.92 overall for 121 credits from dental school that I've taken in my country-Romania.
I really want to get in U.Maryland.I also applied to Howard, but I'm not a minority and I might not have a chance there(I wouldn't like going there either).A week ago I got a little desperate and I applied to U.Penn, even though I think it might be harder to get in than MD.
Mo007- thank you for your detailed DAT experience.Everything you wrote, especially about the test center, was the same for me today.I thought about your post when I got fingerprinted 🙂
Thanks so much for everything and good luck!

No Problems, Thats why we are here in SDN to help each other.

I didn't hear about the finger-priniting on SDN until I found out for myself.

I think your scores will land you almost anywhere. Just sit back and let the schools do the chasing now.

Well DONE!
