Hi, I am a bio major, took DAT once, bio from kaplan didn't help me at all..I have 6 questions from Plan biology and I got only 8 questions taht I read in kaplan book.

If you retake:

Biology: Destroyer is the key to this section (21 Biology)

PAT: Kaplan (This is what I have heard)

O'Chem and Gen Chem: Destroyer

QR: Simply put- I do not know the best tool out there:
Kaplan, Destroyer, and ACT/SAT books generally do an ok job with teaching the concepts you need to know

Other: Apply early- it is key to getting interviews

You need to resort to bio text books and guides like AP Cliff's biology for that section. DAT Destroyer helps but it isn't nearly as reliable. Kaplan and destroyer should be more than sufficient for g and o chem. I scored blah on PAT and I wish I used Crak DAT PAT.
QR: I dunno I got a 15 lol. Try purplemath.com and SAT/ GRE Math books. I wish I did.
RC: Read a lot. Read anything.
Get AADSAS submitted by late May.

i took the DAT around Aug of last year using only the Kaplan book for science, i manage to get a 19 on the bio section. but i know the bio part pretty well, spend about a month making flash cards. i think the key is to memorize everything in there and u will have a good foundation, and just do practice test like crazy and just add to what you already know.
