I just finished the DAT finally.....here goes

PAT 19 (78.6%)
QR 17 (65.6%)
RC 24 (95.3%)
BIO 18 (68.9%)
CHEM 20 (80.8%)
ORGO 20 (80.4%)
TS 19 (78.3%)
AA 20 (86.1%)

I'm satisfied with these scores.....hoping for interviews because my GPA's are low (Cum: 3.02, Sci: 2.96, Non Sci: 3.14, BCP: 3.38). First off I'd just like to say that the real DAT is MUCH easier than both achiever and topscore. Everything went up 3-4 points except for math...actually went down 2-3 points for some reason. Do not let topscore or achiever freak you out. Out of the six practice tests the highest I got in the sciences was a 16 one time in gen chem. Mostly 15's all the time and as low as 12 in achiever. Just something to think about for those people who still haven't taken it.

Great scores and most of all congrats on being done and never having to go through it again.

Why are your percentiles much lower than mine by the actual score is the same/close? See the post "done!"

Percentiles are different for different versions of the DAT. Who knows...maybe I got the harder one? Yes, RC did go up. I was getting mostly straight 20's and once I got a 22 on topscore. I have to say though that the sciences are so much easier than the topscore/achiever. RC was about the same, QR was about the same. I think PAT is about the same exact level as topscore so work on those. Honestly, achiever PAT was way too hard and I don't know if it even helped me at all. Like everyone says though, angles are a lot harder on the real DAT..a lot of them look identical. A good tip is though look for the "crookedness" of the lines...more crooked usually = smaller angle. And as for the sciences, I think the chem and organic questions were way easier than any practice test. Bio, on the other hand, was pretty tough. A lot of random questions I'd never seen before. I did get the sea urchin one though. Anyway, I'm glad it's finally over and I never have to look at that f'n blue book again (unless I don't get in).

congrats on the nice scores!!

what was your strategy for the RC? did you scan for the answers or read the passages first? When I practice, I have been looking for keywords but others have posted that on the real DAT it doesn't work. Did you have to read the passages or were the questions-answers mostly key words? thanks and congrats again!

could u tell me what kinda bio problems us saw?

For the RC, I basically scanned through real quick. I got pretty good at reading very quickly with all the practice tests. For some of the questions, yeah you can just scan real quick for key words and that's what I did a lot. But also, on the real thing I found that a lot of the questions were like ..."based on the passage it can inferred that...." so you really do have to actually read it and figure it out. Hope that helps.
