My dentist wants me to give him some pointers on what he should write about in his letter of recommendation. My professor LORs are probably talking about my academic abilities, so I'm thinking my dentist could write abooooout, my professionalism? Desire and determination to succeed?

I dunno, I'm grasping at ideas. What would a dentist that you've shadowed say? My dentist was basically like "Yeah, just gimme a guideline of what you want me to write and I'll make it sound awesome".

Give 'em your three greatest attributes, like maybe: professionalism, desire to succeed, and ability to work well with people. Then give him examples of how great you are in those three categories. If you are a good writer, give him a letter stating the points and examples and throw in some well done phrases that he may be able to use, but, of course, don't write the whole thing like you are writing the letter

Google some LORs and give them to your dentist lol.

Becareful with that though because you'd have to flip your writing style 180 degrees or else it'll appear incredibly similar to your PS lol.

Honestly, they can write it however they want... They can turn it into a haiku if they wanted to. Its kind of 'freestyle' similar to your PS where they don't force you to abide by strict regulations.
