Hi, guys, I really have a concern about my undergraduate gpa. I graudated about 10 years ago( a long time), and my college which I attened is in a foreign country.

When apply school through ADEA, my school is not in the list at all, my question is what I should do? Or I do not need do anything, the ADEA people can find my transcript from the school I listed? I could not even remember all the classes I took during that time.

Please help! I am so nervous now without my GPA.

You cannot apply to USA dental schools without having taken your pre-dental courses at a USA undergrad (or community college)

However, you can apply as in international student, but the schools that have such program, are going to require your old college transcripts.... you need to call each of the schools and ask them thier requirment for international pre-dents. I know U of Mich has such program.

Thanks! When you say "pre-dental courses" are they those "Prereq classes"? I will have them done soon, but what about my undergraduate GPA, how they get them? If my undergraduate degree was got from another country, but all my prerequest classes(sciences, math, English) are got from USA, I could not apply for as a regular student? I am confused now 😕

Oh I see, so you HAVE completed your pre-reqs here in USA. You should be fine to apply the tradition away (not the international way)..... Only suggestion I have is, you need to call up your undergrad institute from your country, and have them send you your transcripts. You need those so you can type up each class EXACTLY the way it appears on the transcript when you start filling up the AADSAS application online.

Also, you need to call up the dental schools you are applying to and tell them your situation, just in case you've missed something about their college-credit requirements. For example, some schools require students to have taken 90 credit hours before enrolling into their dental school (i am not sure if this 90 must be taken in the USA or other countries are allowed... this is why i am suggesting for you to call)

This makes me feel much better, thanks for the suggestion!
