My GPA went from around 3.5-3.7 to 3.19 last semester because I was taking Organic Chemistry I, Molecular Biology and Ecology along with Ecology Lab, organic chem lab and physics lab. It lowered my overall from 3.63 to a 3.55.
And the scary thing now is that I know my gpa is going to drop again because I'm getting C's on all my exams in Physics and Orgo.

What are my chances now? I did plenty of volunteering/shadowing, but I'm feeling down because it's almost the end of the semester and I feel like theres not much I can do.

Should I just try my best with the DATs?

Is it horrible that my GPA dropped like that? I mean they were pretty difficult classes...

*I'm going to apply this may(I didn't apply yet)

advice please!

I would be happy with the GPA. So you had a bad year. Big deal. Not everyone does perfect all through college. Just relax. Schools will ask you about it when you get interviewed and you can tell them what happened. Maybe it was too much or maybe you were too involved with everything else. Either way it's there and you can't do anything about it. Focus on the DAT and prove to those schools that this semester was a fluke and you are ready for dental school.

Focus on doing well on the DAT now. A strong DAT in your situation can remedy an iffy semester of heavy course load with prereqs. Maybe you need to go a little lighter next semester especially with a strong GPA like yours.
