My GPA went dow between GPA w/o +/- and GPA inc +/-!!!!

Hey SDN,

So my application just got verified however my GPA went down in the inc +/- vs how my GPA was with out the +/-. I thought using the AADSAS platform was supposed to bump my GPA up!!! Is this a screw up in the system or am I missing something?

How did you find out your application was verified? Did they send you can email or where do you look for it on AADSAS? Do most schools not look at your application until the application is verified? I ask because I got emails from schools telling me they received my application, so does this mean it was verified? Thanks

That probably means you have a lot more grades with the minus sign because when you calculate grades without the -/+ your lower grades were raised. For example a B- is 2.7 but without the +/- it is now calculated as a 3.0.

Your school's way of calculating GPA may be different from the way AADSAS calculates it.
You can always go through your coursework section and double check all the grades/credit hours to make sure everything is correct.
