*hates cold pizza*
*refused to recognize the photographed monstrosities as "pizza"*

I fully agree, especially with your second statement. There’s WAY too much going on with that “pizza”. Tone it down a bit...have a nice thin crust with 1-2 toppings. Maybe Canadian bacon and mushrooms. You don’t have to clean out the fridge to top a pizza.

You can get a cheese pizza, they put over 1 1/2 lb on of good cheese there lol. Still 4200 cal lol. Their price hasn't changed since 1989. Pretty amazing.

Supreme is always my go to.

I'm all about that Costco hot dog (too bad they don't have polish dogs anymore)

You don't have to turn people away, just be honest about the wait time. Like say, "Flu shot? Great! Feel free to look around the store and I will page you when it's your turn. I'm here completely by myself and there are 25 people waiting for flu shots ahead of you, so it will probably be 90 - 120 minutes, depending on how many prescription come in for me to fill in between flu shots." Most people will then say, "would there be a better time to come back?" If not, then they are OK with the wait time, so it's all good.

I think your advice makes a lot of sense. You also have to schedule them 15 minutes apart. You can't just line up 30 people and give all those shots right after the other. Patients are supposed to hang around for 10 to 15 minutes after the shot. What happens when all 30 people have a reaction? It comes down to safety. But then again, it's retail.

It would be somewhat civilized if vaccine "appointments" were able to be scheduled especially if someone wants 5 or more shots but convenience trumps all.

Do you guys actually work in real retail pharmacy??? You must know script counts is not the only determining factor in how bad your job is. Hell I admit it, my script count is great, i usually get to sit in a stool when it's not busy. There are one off where you are bombarded with flu shot because some headlines some where in the newspaper about the flu epidemic this year (who knows).
But sitting in a stool comes with a whole new set of problem:
let's see here
"you aren't busy i need you to register for other stores and do their MTM so they meet their goals."
"I need you to call other store for their patients for adherence and refills and blah blah blah."
"I need you to remote verify for other busy stores."
"I need you to type for busy stores."
"your script count is not high enough, I think we are going to have to talk about changing your pharmacy opening hours to 9-7?"
You know what happens to the staff pharmacist when a store go to 9-7? You are on your own, float around. I'm sorry we can guarantee you full time now. Too many new grads need hours.
Listen, like i said there are good days and bad days. Do I work hard? hell yea, I may not fill as much as someone in a 400-500 hundred a day store (trust me I did my time), I still get stuck with a lot of crap.

you all are missing the point, I'm not here to brag about how great I am at doing 40 shots. Hell if I have a choice i'd turn them away like Gombrich suggested. (Is that still an option? LOL "I'm sorry sir its too busy you are going to have to come back later to get your flu shot." )Until I find something better, I'd like to keep my job.
If I had a choice I'd never go to pharmacy school to begin with, unfortunately I have no choice. So I'm just trying to see if anyone else has an option that I did not or have no seen.
Man you guys are brutal!!!!
Hi, sorry...i am new so no one have told me about script counts> what is script counts and how do we make it high to meet requirement?
