my kaplan cd won't run

i'm using the 07-08 version, just loaded the cd but a window pops up and says that it requires at least 3mb of free virtual memory to run. i have practically nothing on this comp... can someone help me figure out what's wrong?

I know how to fix this problem.

1. Right click on My Computer, then go to Properties.
2. Click on Advanced tab, then under Performance (in blue) click Settings.
3. Click on Advanced tab, then under Virtual memory (in blue) click Change.
4. Type in 4000 for both Initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB)
5. This is important! Before you press OK, you must click on Set.

There you go. Enjoy the program.

Hm..same with me. I remember running it before and it worked, I dont' know what's going on now.

i had that problem at first, but then i realized that it worked when i clicked on the actual icon in the start menu, not the shortcut on the desktop.

unfortunately, now when i try to run the program, it asks me to open the launcher, whatever that is, and can't find all of these 'xtras.' i have no idea what's going on. i bought a used copy. the program starts up and everything, but once it can't find this other stuff it closes. le sigh.

I used the icon in my start menu too, so I don't know what the heck is going on. My copy is new 😕

ay~ computer noob! just kidding ^^

Just go to control panel and click on system and follow the directions.

And kneecoal, if you can upload a screenshot of that error message I might be able to help. Or you might want to uninstall (also delete kaplan folder too. under C:\Program Files) then reinstall it.
