QR 360
RC 290
Bio 300
GC 330
OC 300
Physics 300
TS 310
AA 320

i have BS and MS in bioengieering with gpa of 3.4-3.5
and been working as an opthal tech for a year

interested in SCCO, SUNY, ICO, and probably 1 or 2 more with #1 choice being SCCO but some people say SCCO requires at least 300 on every subject? is that true??

SUNY won't like those scores, I'd be very surprised if you didn't get an interview to ICO though. A lot of schools say they "require" a 300 on every section, but well frankly they don't. I don't know much information about SCCO, but if you are concerned about your stats, opted.org has the average accepted OAT TS and AA and GPA for all the schools classes of 2013.

Also, most school's admissions counselor's will be able to tell you better than anyone on here can. I would suggest looking up SCCO's admission's office phone numbers and asking to speak with an admissions counselor.

yeah thank you for your reply
i actually emailed SUNY, SCCO, NECO, ICO, IU, PCO
they all said its ok other than SUNY. SUNY told me to retake it and want score of 320 or above

question: did SUNY mean 320 or up on each subject or 320 or up on TS and AA? it be really helpful if you can tell me, thanks a lot 😀

If I were to guess I'd say 320 on every section, that school is hard core, I was reading some of the interview feedback on that school and well they sound like sharks

from what i received from SUNY
"I would recommend you retake the OATs, SUNY likes to see most scores 320 or better"

Since the OAT scoring was recalibrated 5/1/09, I think it will be interesting to find out this Nov., when the new stats are released, how much the average OAT score drops for each school for the entering class of 2014. Many schools average 340, and I bet this drops to 330 or even 320.

NECO told me the TS stayed about the same but the AA dropped a little (10 pts) because the QR section dropped a lot
