hi guys...
i'm thinking about having the step1 exam after like a year and a half may be (whaaaaaat ...... i know)
but i am free for 7 weeks now then the sixth year 🙄 will begin for like 10 other months then i will be free for the rest till the exam date which i didn't put yet 🙂
so i want to prep my self early 👍
so here is the plan for that 😎
and any advices would be appreciated ...
i'm planning to read FA and understand as much as i can in the first pass with supplmentations with kaplan, Goljan and brs in the weak points and doing the questions after each block
in the second pass i will start memorizing and double check on the understanding with the questions.
in the third pass i will try to make a cards to remember the important things and for the quick review
then i'm going to do all the questions that are available till my eyes bleed:meanie:
so what do you think guys?
is it enogh that way?
any suggestions..!!!

i mean that i've just finished my fifth year of med school
it's too late i know
did i forget to mention that i'm studing in Yemen <<<< yes you did 😡
anyway someone told that taking the exam is a very good idea so i decided to start preparing my self
so what do you think about the plan now?🙂

Well in that case, Salaam brother. 🙂

Add uworld questions to that and I think it sounds like a great plan. You probably really only need to do kaplan twice and FA 3-5 times. You'll know when your ready when you start taking NBME's, which I recommend to do with 4 weeks to go. This gives you enough time to prepare for it, yet still enough time afterwards to improve in your weak areas when your done.

ok
but if i understood FA really really goooood do i need to go to kaplan lecture notes?
cause they are kind of long and someone told me that "to read a good book three good times is better than reading three good book"

and thank you
