I'm scheduled to take the DAT July 20, 2015.
My study layout gives me 2 months of studying.

Using: (EDIT: Study time: 60-70 hours/week)
-30 days -KBB, Bio cliff, Chadd's videos, Crack the DAT royal flush bundle package
-30 days -DAT/Math Destoryer, TopScore, Godfrey's reading comprehension, DATQVault, DATBOOTCAMP, AADSAS exams, and DAT Achiever.

EDIT: Organic Chemistry and Reading Comprehension are my weaker points, anything extra you would recommend for those, or should the supplements I have suffice to improve those?

I just started studying and have no direct or exact layout, just figuring it out as I go.

I would like to know:
-Do I have enough time for that?
-Should my layout be different?
-Are there any additional material that I should include?
-Are there any material that I should exclude?

I'm trying to keep in mind not to take my DAT too late as I don't want a "Late" application, feedback on this is strongly encouraged as well please as I don't know the importance relative to the extra study time I could be getting.

I just stated and I'm pretty clueless, I'm just going off what I've gathered reading here and there.
Any feedback or criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have more than enough material but one thing I had by my side while reading Cliffs Bio was Feralis notes. It made easy for me to see what Cliffs was missing. As far as if you have enough time depends how efficient you are and how well you retain the info. To me with all that material to get through, I would probably add a few weeks to your test date just to be on the safe side.

Thank you very much.
I will get my hands on the notes.
Also, if I average 70 hours a week of studying, should I still add a few extra weeks, or is the 8 weeks I have sufficient?

I'm not saying it can't be done, there's people who've scored 22+ with just a month of studying. What I'm trying to say is I can't make that call for you, it depends on you. Probably the best thing to do is stick to your originally planned test date and see where you stand in a month, by then you'll be able to gauge and see how much more time you need.

Good idea, thank you.
I really appreciate the advice!

In addition to StudentDoc's great advice, I would suggest taking one to two full practice exams prior to your content review so you know which sections you need to work on the most. Two months isn't a whole lot of time and you want to make sure you don't want to waste time studying the stuff you already may know. It's actually really hard trying to study the topics you're not comfortable with. I wasted a good full week just reading stuff I know and skipping the stuff I KNOW I had to learn someday. Horrible. So make a list of topics you know for SURE you need to work on. And then tackle those first, rather than just following the chapters/videos in order. Knowing what NOT to study is just as important! It will save you time and energy and ultimately your score. Hope I helped. Good luck!

That is some great advice, thanks for the help!

I would take a Kaplan Diagnostic Exam BEFORE you do your content review and AFTER your content review. My best advice would be to make yourself a calendar and stick to it rigidly. That'll ensure that you get everything you need in it'll help during those days where you just can't do it anymore.

The calender advice really is great, working on that right now, thank you!

In my opinion 70 hours a week is a bit too much. Start slow and gradually increase the amount of time you study. This way you build your " stamina". And while you study do different subjects everyday. For example don't just do orgo for 7 or 8 hours straight. Concentrate on your weak spot. Do the 2007 ADA exam as a diagnostic exam and take it from there.
Good luck

I feel like my stamina is already pretty good, as I developed it in undergrad. 60-70 hours a week isn't too bad for me.
As for the subject dispersal, that's helpful advice, along with the 2007 ADA as a diagnostic.
Thank you Alexis, and good luck to you as well!

I am scheduled to take the DAT July 22,2015 . I am soooo nervous!

I study everyday when I can. I am currently earning a Masters Degree in Biology ( Physiology concentration) .
I use Kaplan material to study , I also watch Khan Academy Videos. I have a 2012 practice test from DAT Destroyer that I will take this weekend.
I study a chapter do the review questions at the end of each chapter, I honestly try to complete two chapters a day! and WATCH VIDEOS HEAVY. I understand things better visually. I hope about 60-80hrs a week helps me as well!!!

That sounds legit! 60-80 hours a week should be perfect!
Good luck Ronielle!
