i am going to take the Dat June 13th 2007 for the 2008 cycle.
Watever crappy scores i get, i will put them on my app and submit it on that same day ( june 13th). Then, because my scores mite be bad, i will for the next two to three months take the Kaplan Dat Prep Course, take the dat again In September, and then go back to my app and add my new and improved scores.

My question: does this seem like a good plan to you?

That doesnt sound like a good plan to me. I would submit my AADSAS fairly early and take the DAT when you are ready. If you submit bad scores and schools see them then they might reject you before your new scores even come in. Study once and do well on the test, the AADSAS application takes awhile to get to schools anyway so you should be fine. Good luck.

not a good plan

You can submit your AADSAS application the first day it is allowed, without your DAT scores. Also, if you are thinking this far in advance, why not start studying now or even over winter break, which is about one month long.

so u can submit without dat scores? isnt ur app considered incomplete without em? and won;t schools like not even look at ur app without the scores?

you can submit your AADSAS application without your DAT scores or letter of recomendations. The thing is that it takes forever to get to the schools (4-8weeks)...
study hard, do your best and take the DAT not thinking about retaking it...just my opinion.

Yeah dude, you should listen to what the other posters have said. If you take it the first time expecting to do poorly, then most likely you will.
