This is true. My science gpa on my e-profile info of my aacomas app. is 3.35 . My science gpa in amcas was 3.26 because amcas considers math courses into this gpa calculation and aacomas doesn't. I had a C and a B in calculus and then an A- later on in another math class. So I am a bit happier. It is not everyday that your gpa can bounce up without you doing a damn thing. Hope some of you had a similar suprise.

Did you replace any classes?

NO, I completed both of the apps from the same transcript.

No, I meant, during your college career, did you ever retake a class and get a better grade? If you retake a class and get a better grade AACOMAS drops the lower grade from their GPA calculation, while AMCAS does not. That might be another reason why the GPA's are different.

dude, my sci gpa is 0.22 higher on AACOM than AMCAS. I think I'm going to nut

Just make sure you use "STD Control" (look at exmike's profile).
