I received a C and a C+ in my physics 2 and genetics courses, respectively in the Spring 2010 semester.
In past semesters I had received C grades in English 1, Calculus 1, and General Chemistry 2. However, I have scored A's in English 2, Calculus 1 (retake), and scored a B in Organic Chemistry 1.

All other courses and pre-requisites are scores of A's and B's. My anticipated G.P.A will be around a 3.3. I have many strong extracurricular actively like vision research, volunteering, shadowing ect..

Taking all this information into account and assuming I score well on the OAT would I have a reasonable chance at gaining admittance to optometry school?

Is 3.3 overall or science GPA? What's your OAT? I know people who got into optometry school with lower than 3.3 GPA, but they make it up by high OAT score. Call the school's admission and they can probably give you a better answer.

no it would be my science GPA.
Also, ive e-miled admission and still waiting for their reply.

Thx
