Just took the June 2008 PCAT and was planning on applying. Now I don't know. How do I look for Midwestern-CCP or UI-Chicago?

Verbal 422-81%
Biology 412 68%
Reading 446 96%
Quan 388 21% - (Horrible, I know)
Chemistry 412 64%
Composite 74%

GPA: 3.56

Any hope?

i think u have 2 improve your math b/c you have to do pharmacy calculations eg: TPN, etc. They want to see that you can do basic math

yea, i'm laughing along with you. (on the inside, i think)

i realize my numbers are not that bad. i would call them average? it's just that math score that's really making me nervous. will that severely hold me back? (in all seriousness)

ive been trying to figure out that for a while too.....evryone gets amazing scores in reading comp and it drives me crazy....i try my best and score below 49 percentile(best score) in reading comp everytime........i need some serious advice about strategies on this section........🙁

Have you looked at Chicago State University since you're looking at two schools in the Chicago area? CSU has a new pharmacy department that I'm sure you can get into.

Apply to MWU-ccp early. People this year were accepted with lower stats than you. If you can get an interview early (I am assuming you are a Illinois resident), you are almost a sure shot to get in (also assuming that you have at least some ecs and good recs). As for Chicago State, dont do it, total ****hole, your stats are better than that.

Haha, most pre-pharmacy students struggle in math and reading/verbal. Yet, you seem to strive in these (well, only in reading/verbal); what's your secret? 🙂
