My study progress; is it good enough??

I am planning on taking DAT on Aug 1st but now i am getting a bit nervous and unsure if I am on track.

I have gone over my bio, o chem , g chem and math once from the notes, study aids, and formulas etc.

After having my basics down I am now moving to destroyer. I should be able to finish bio section of destroyer tonight. And as i have been answering questions i have been going back to cliff bio and other books to revise stuff i am weak on.

Next I will review my o-chem again and do o-chem destroyer. Then chem, math and then move to topscore exams and hopefully achiever.

For PAT I am initially aiming to use the topscore and achiever exams as practice. Although I would love to have the time to go over few of the exams in CDP

Does this seem realistically possible by Aug 1st?? should i move my date ? this is the second time i will take the DAT and I reallllly have to do well.

Advice??? opinions??

If you're already done going through the basics with a month left, I think you are doing just fine! You could finish Destroyer by the end of the week, no problem, and then still have time to go through a couple more times. Save full-length tests until the last week...and if I were you I would practice with PAT continuously, maybe doing a practice test or 2 a week.

My test is in exactly 3 weeks (July 22nd) and I am not nearly done, so if you're this far along with a whole month left, you should be good to go!

yeah i think you might be right. Good luck for your test, its motivating to know that you are taking it before me and you feel prepared then since i have a little more time I should suck it up and pull it off.

Destroyer in 1 week?? I am not sure. It took me 2 1/2 days just doing bio part. Actually I reviewed bio again, then started destroyer and went back to cliffs and my notes as I found myself not know some topics. Classification really sucks. I memorize it and then a day later I am already forgetting the names of all the organisms in various kingdoms.

Now I am reviewing o-chem 1 more time. Hopefully tomorrow i will start the 0chem destroyer. I know that will take atleast 2-3 days.

I am super nervous about math and Gchem, i didnt put in as much time reviewing them

And doing PAT once or 2 times a week i think is a great tip. I totally didnt think of it. I will definitely do it now.

oh I work part time too.

I have a similar plan too. I highly recommend CDP though. Get the 10X one. My score went up 3 points. IMO, it's better than achiever's PAT.

We are kind of on the same track! Although I am taking my DAT on August 7th. I basically finished reviewing the science sections, a little bit of QR, and now I am working on Destroyer. It took me nearly 3 days to finish Bio (I should be done by tonight) and I plan on doing the other sections and finish in a week. Then practice with TopScore and see what I need improvement in. I think you will be good to go as long as you keep doing the practice tests. I have not yet practiced PAT but I plan on practicing using Kaplan and TopScore.

when i hot O-chem its like the resistance in the path has increased a 100X slowing me down terribly. LOL.

I decided to open Schaums before I begin destroyer to pick up addition info i may have missed in other books. ANd I doubt my 2nd review of o-chem will be done by tomorrow end. AARRGHHHH But I hope to start 0-chem destroyer day after tomorrow and hopefully do it in 2 days.

Yeah I am looking to order the CDP and i will get the 10 test version.

Good luck to all you guys too. I love SDN its motivating. I cant believe I was just doubting myself yesterday about being able to finish on time and now I am super charged!! 😀 I will try to pull a half nighter tonite ha ha ha.

Oh by the way is Schaums worth wasting time over??? its weird!! maybe coz i suck at chemistry.
