My USC Portal Status Changed, Anyone Else?

Under the comments section of my USC status page, my status has changed today.

It went from saying something along the lines that interviews will be help in the months of Feb-April to just simply "none".

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a good or bad sign?

Yea, mine too...

USC is my #1 choice, and i see my hope of going there dwindling away.

mine changed today too - but i received invite ~2weeks ago so i have
"interview" for status and
"none" for comments.

I think they're doing a website update because mine didn't change since the invite until today. But i've heard USC's interview continues until really late in the cycle.

My status also changed. It went from "interviews will be held..." to "none" in the comments section. I have not received an interview invite and my status still says "Under Review"

yeah, mine actually changed yesterday.. i've been anxiously checking since.
It has also changed from "Application Complete" to "Under Review"

OP, It doesn't mean anything. That is just the Comment to inform you of where USC is in the application cycle. The important thing is the "Status" section of your Applicant Information page.

I talked to Admissions today and they said they are still reviewing many applications and handing out interviews

I sent in my application late and have already been accepeted to my first choice, but I am not withdrawing my application because I am aware that they interview thru April.. is this correct?

So if you got into your top choice and still hasn't receive an interview from USC yet, then why don't you withdraw? And yes, they do interview thru 1st week of April, at least last year they did.

I figure since I live close and already paid to apply.. why not just go.. But then I'm thinking that might not be fair to others who really want to go there....

I would have to agree, I am one of those stdents who would love to go there. I just don't know why I have yet to hear anything from them.

Well if location is REALLY a big decision factor on where you want to go then stay with it. If you're not really interested in going to USC, I would say let other people to have that opportunity to get that interview. Just a personal opinion though cause that's what I did after I got accepted. I withdrew from all the other schools.

I actaully LOVE USC!
But it costs more than Loma Linda and it's students seem to be less happy. I know there is a lot of things going to with the school right now, and I hope they get them figured out ASAP!
If things were to get better real soon I would have a hard time choosing between the two....

Things will get better, just not for the incoming class. And plus in Loma you won't have to deal with the PBL c...p heheh!
