1) most acute MIs are cause dby coronary atrety thrombosis
2)acute Mi is coomon cause of deaath in industrial nations
3)pain from MI can be relieved by vasodilators such as nitroglycerine(ans)
4)thromolytic agents such as streptokinase often limit the size of infarction
5) Myocardial necosis usually begins 20-30 mins after cornoary artery damage


Is 3 correct ans, i mean dont we give nitroglycerine iN MI as vasodilators..

nitrogycerin is an anti anginal drung..
it has an effect onlu on stabe and prizmental..does not effect unsatble angina(which leads to MI) i checked on Kaplan
