Mhm. Myogenic cells can contract without an outside neurogenic factor to initiate depolarization. Cardiac pacemaker cells do this with leaky channels that cause gradual depolarization. In smooth muscles there are mechanical Ca++ channels that open when the cells are stretched, initiating depolarization and action potentials.
