Did he say he will go this year? Or is he planning on pursuing his NFL dream first. Those things have age expirations, but med school does not. I wouldn't blame him if he puts it off.

What I read was that he was already in the NFL for a few seasons and now has decided that, since he has not had a concussion or injured his hands, he was going to go to medial school...I don't know if he's taking this year to apply or if he's starting in the fall...I would really rather not be in competition with him for a spot at a school
Yes he was a former NFL player. He won't return to the NFL for another season because he is going to medical school Fall 2013. Last I read he was waiting on acceptances... I'm sure he has been accepted somewhere - well I hope so!
