Myth about Admissions?

Hey guys! I've been told by a lot of people that certain schools won't look at applicants who score below 300 on any section. Is there any truth to that? I'm aiming for SCO, NOVA, or ICO. Thanks for the help!
(Anyone who had a below 300 on any section and still got an interview would you please let me know what the schools said!)
 
Yes there is truth in it, however I do not believe any of those three schools impose those limits.

Also, with the scoring changes made to the OAT this year, the 300 cutoff might be changed.
