Please do tell... how does the NBME manage to get such a high predictive value for the real deal/boards? Are they just testing the same concepts on these practice exams? In other words, if you knew all the concepts from the practice exams, would you do well on the Steps?

I would guess that they use retired boards questions, or questions developed as experimental questions on the boards.

The boards are obviously not restricted to the concepts covered on the NBME practice exams.
