I’m finishing up my first semester of PT school and I’m having major anxiety and doubts that I will pass. The final exams must be at least a 75% to pass the class regardless of our current overall grades and the lab and lecture average exam scores must be at least 80%. I haven’t been doing well on exams. My last exam I got a 73% and I am struggling to understand concepts and put together how everything works. I’m not sure what to do and if anyone has struggled this much through PT school as well. I need advice please 🙁

What are your current study habits (do you study alone/groups/how much) and do you have access to any type of tutoring say perhaps from a 2nd/3rd year student?

73% on last exam is pretty close to 75%. What is the difference? Maybe 1 extra question to be answered correctly? You are VERY CLOSE to the minimal requirement, so there is a good chance you will make it. The advice is to keep doing what you have been doing so far. What were your score on other exams? Close to 75%? Above? Far below?
You don't have to understand the concepts and put things together in semester 1. There are people who can, and it's great, but not everyone is like that. You have 3 years ahead of you to put things more or less together. Sometimes you have to start working and only after that everything becomes the second nature, not in the 1st semester of PT school.
