I'm not understanding how N2O5+H2O forms HNO3..?
 
More commonly N2O5 it's a salt or a polar molecule with ions. So it dissociates as shown below.

N2O5 ⇌ [NO2+][NO3−]

And then in aqueous solution NO3- will combine with H+ to form nitric acid.
