N of around 15 Nalu PNS implants.

I’m not very sold on permanent PNS devices in their current form but I get sent some for implant so I do it.

Has anyone noticed significant lead erosion? When you’re shoving all that excess lead under the skin and you’re so superficial I’m not surprised that lead erosion is an issue with the device.

Is there any data out there on the incidence of lead erosion? My rep is making it seem like it never happens but i don’t buy it (I’ve have had 2 instances)

Happens frequently when superficial especially seems common with cranial leads. One of my former partners quit doing them for this reason.

Lead or their microIPG

I'm waiting for the day when you can permanently implant PNS and SCS w/o making an incision. I'm guessing this will be available within the next 5 years. Will be a boondoggle for the industry if the medical profession/CMS/payers etc. don't reign in mid level creep. Can you imagine all the mid levels who are going to be doing neuromodulation at that point

ANS Renew can be implanted with a 1" incision. Lead placement would be with smaller incision to anchor to fascia.
