NAPLEX & Dosing specifics?

I'm just getting overwhelmed with some of the infusion bolus/rate/etc dosings!!! Can anyone help narrow my scope of studying?! It's really making me nervous & I hate just memorizing numbers.....I realize that there's a lot of stuff that I should & do know, but could anyone help cut down on what I don't need to waste time on, please? 🙁

Dont worry. Dosing is very minimal on the exam. Just know basic pharmacy things. like flagyl and alcohol. and quinolones and minerals. etc. you'll be fine but u will feel like u passed afterwords but dont worry you will do great.

For those that have taken the NAPLEX recently [2010-2011].... what is the approach to studying dosing. Is it a great emphasis? I am just beginning to study and look over some review books I have bought.

Should study for dosing be on major disease states, such as diabetes, hypertension, depression, and such


please let me know how you guys did it... so many doses......

I had 1 or 2 dosing questions, one on max dose glyburide or glipizide, but other than that it was a lot of TPN/caloric intake questions. I took the naplex in the summer of 2010

I had few questions on dosing but those for major drug classes..aspirin, metformin as I do remember. But there was alot of question on PHK and TPN to memorize. I did the exam last month!
