Hi there,

I currently am working on cutting down the schools I will apply to and was hoping for some input. Most of the schools on this list have no GRE requirement; some counting only the last 45-60 hours. Has anyone had any experiences applying to these schools? What were the GPA cut-offs and how much weight did they put on the GPA, LOR, etc? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Stony Brook University
University of St. Augustine

Texas Tech University

The Texas schools just want a 3.0 minimum usually. And the apps are viewed holistically. I know some schools want you to have x-amount of hours or GRE scores, but Texas wants a minimum 3.0 GPA and outside of that you'll be compared holistically to all the other applicants. So just hope not everyone applying is a rockstar. LoL And they usually aren't. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten into all I applied to (including Tech). Good luck!
