Everyday I wake up wondering if I will be good as a Dentist. I know I will enjoy this profession, but still wondering if I will excel at it. So I was wondering if you think the hand skill is either nature...you are born with it or is it nurture.....you become good at it after repeating the same thing numerous times.

I'm not in dental school yet, but I can assure you it is 100% up to you assuming you have no serious physical ailments. Read Maxwell Maltz' Psycho-Cybernetics . It's all about positive thinking and achieving at and above your potential.

a little bit of both. if it were all "nurture" everyone would be equally good after preclinical labs. you will see some scary looking preps by your classmates in these labs. they are the ones who weren't blessed with "nature". however, you will need to find a balance between art and function. i would rather a hack prep w/o caries than a work of art with residual caries
