I dont know if this is true, but I've heard that there's a Navy dental school in Bethesda, Maryland. Is this true? Could someone give any more info about this?

Heya,

The Navy does not have a pre-doctoral program (one that awards a DDS/DMD degree). However, they do have post-graduate programs, including the ones at Bethesda.

You can apply to those for additional training after dental school.

HTH!

They also offer a scholarship called the HPSP(health professions scholarship program). The Army and the Navy both offer it for up to four years and the Air Force gives up to three years of money. It's a one for one deal, meaning, for every year you accept the scholarship, you owe them a year of active duty. I am in the Army HPSP program and after going to OBC(Officer Basic Course) I'm pretty pumped about everything.
