Hello,

I'm sorry to beat a drum here. I've searched and read what I can find on this topic but I can't seem to find a simplistic run-down of the facts. If you want to go to pharmacy school through the Navy or the Air Force, what can you expect (i.e. tuition coverage, pay, time away from home, etc.)?

I am trying to track down the truth about these programs as it will seriously affect my family for the next years!!!

I've been considering going into the military as well.

Here are some links I came across in the various divisions of the military:

Navy: http://www.navy.com/healthcareopportunities/medicalservicecorps/

Also shortcut:
http://www.navy.com/careers/healthcare/medicalservicecorps/clinicalcareproviders/pharmacy/

Army: http://www.goarmy.com/amedd/m_service/pharmacy.jsp

Air Force: http://www.airforce.com/education/healthcare/moneyForSchool.php

Public Health Service: http://www.hhs.gov/pharmacy/recruit97.html
also http://www.hhs.gov/pharmacy/student.html

Right now it looks like the Navy is offering the best package in terms of tuition reimbursement. You might have to talk with a recruiter from each division to determine specifics, however. Hope this helps you!
