when is the board meeting for the navy??..

My recruiter said the board meets on the 3rd week of every month.

how many are the Navy taking this yr?

I was told that they are giving out a total of 220 HPSP scholarships. Around a quarter of them are taken, and another quarter have been offered up but not officially taken. So there should be over 100 scholarships left minimum. Again, this is what was told to me by my recruiter. Can anyone verify this? Anyone hear anything different? It seems as though we have a VERY good chance of getting in!

I don't think that's accurate.

There were only 80 4-yr HPSP scholarships given out this year in the Army - somewhere around another 40 3-yr scholarships.

I'm nearly certain that, as far as the number of scholarships are concerned: Army > Navy > AF.

Could be wrong of course...

i 'm not sure if those numbers can be correct.. you saying AF has 5? while Navy has 220?..

My recruiter said 40 Navy scholarships available for this year... last I heard there were like 18 left.

I also heard that they have an alternate list for the scholarship. It starts in October though and rolls back for tuition reimbursement but not the 3ish months of living stipend.

I also heard 80 HSPS for Army offers this year.
