hi everyone...

am new to this site..
have cleared my part 1 with a score of 88.. at this point i'm really confused 😕 whether to apply or reappear ...help me out.
open to ur suggestions.. 🙂

its agood score,but i doubt if u'll get any seat in the east coast,try applying in west coast u'll definetly get.in the mean while give part 2,west coast admissions start from june end i guess.
there r chances at upenn in east coast too.nyu is unpredictable.i waited all the while with 85 score and dint get placement.

Hi Shilpa, u should give part 2 rather than give part 1 again. 88 is a good score provided u apply early and also have part 2 scores ready.
Which study material did u use, did u refer to text books

with 88 u will definately get called for an interview in all colleges but with the competition increasing , admission is getting tougher.
for the west coast colleges its ok as the bench test is a major factor too.
there are people with higher scores than u plus high 80 in part 2.. who applied early last year and did not get in.
im not trying to discourage you but the higher the better .
at 88 it is a diificult decison to give the exam again .

i feel that having a better score and applying a bit late is better than applying early with an average score...

the kaplan course and study material is good.. do the decks and the review Q papers.. referred text books whenever req.. thats enough.
