So,
I appealed my score for nbde part I, as I got a 74. They came sent me a notice the follwoing week, that my score is at is. Honestly, I don't even think they do it, I think they just say they do. I know how awful it is to get a 74. It is such a bad feeling 🙁
Hey Guys,
I got my scores today... I got a 77 on Part II. Though to many that wouldn't be a great score...to me it's great because now I can graduate in January!!!! Thank you for all your encouragement!
I took my exam the 20th and 21st as well...still no results..I'm so nevous..it was so tough 🙁
will you share your state pleaase,,, and congrats as well.
allright future dentites i got my results back and THANK GOD i passed. But please do not understimate this exam. I personally think it is mucho harder than part 1 to pass. I know of 2 people that easily passed part 1 but flunked the part 2.
I got approximately 350 out 500 right and ended up with a composite score of 81. A freind of mine got 271 out of 500 right and got a 71. He is depressed as hell. Do yourself a favor and make it a one time exprience.
Good luck to everyone.
Were you wondering what "state" endoking is residing in or what his "stats" were. I can tell you he resides in Omaha, Nebraska.😎
I actually didn't apply to Nebraska, but not because of the rivalry😳, I was told they required the GRE which I didn't take, so I didn't bother applying there, also the endo faculty at my school are fairly close with the UNL faculty and the unwritten rule is that they will offer interviews to current Creighton students, but they never offer them spots because they want more experience, hopefully you can buck that trend Loco

I took the exam in early December of 2007. I thought it was very difficult. I ended up with a composite score of 90. I went through the decks once and looked at the released exam questions (1991, 1993, 2006 compilation).[/QUOT
what does composite score of 90 means?
sorry if i m too naive to understand
Composite score is derived from the number of correct answers you scored Versus rest of the pool scored on the same version or standard of the NBDE part 2 test paper since Jan 2007.
Even part 2 scores have been reported in Composite format with an immediate effect after the part 1 new format was implemented.
so your part 2 score is highly impressive and will have an edge for MATCH in top specialities ...
hope this helps
best wishes
I passssssed...... damn.. .it was a hard test. I thought I did very well but ended up with the score in mid-80s. I don't care anymore.... now time to prepare for WREB. I'd used Decks, Mosby's book and coupe of released exams for my studying. Good luck everyone out there on this damn exam.

hey guys, i took my part 2 14/15 jan. i got my results yesterday and I thank God that I passed.
To others who are preparing for it, I did the decks once - certain decks like prsotho and oral path and pharm twice. I also went thru the kaplan book, and if something wasnt clear i used the mosby study guide which was really comprehensive. 2 weeks before the exam i was doing the exams from the ADA, 2005, 1993 and 1991. i think i did these twice, if i didnt understand anything i looked it up, just understanding the concepts.
This exam is doable, I am not the brightest of students, but just focusing on this for a month, one can definitely get thru this. YOU can do it, just believe it, have confidence, you have done 4 years of dental school. Just believe it and and it will be yours. YOU CAN DO IT!!
