Hi,

i'm appearing in part I in about 4 days time. just wanted to know if any1 has any idea about how to interpret the part I scores and how do they actually give out the average score. and how many out of 400 do u need to get right to score good and stand a chance of getting into IDP... yeah i know, silly question 🙂 but still... or in other words, with how many can we go wrong? 🙂

besides i've just recently heard of this "Crack the NBDE" simulated papers. is it worth to get hold of them?

thanx

I heard crack the NBD is not that good, but i haven't seen it. It better that you study from books dental decks are good for a quick review but doesn't explain the subjects in detail. If you want to have a good score i mean around the 90 you have to get right like 85 per section.

actually i have already bought the Crack tests... they're OK. they have a few mistakes and i dun think they have a big pool of questions. neither do the questions actually sound like what ppl who have given the test say abt it. besides a few questions have wrong answers and few questions are repeated. so these are a bit too many mistakes for something worth $75 to $100.

anyway, i have done mostly from text books and done the decks just once. is that OK? i cant really study from decks cuz i personally feel the info they have is pretty hap hazard, and it messes up with ur knowledge if u have done a systematic study. i feel i'm pretty weak at Micro... :S can u help me with that?
