Any disadvantage to writing Part 1 summer after 3rd year instead of summer after 2nd?

You'll forget a lot of stuff. Part I includes your basic sciences (Biochemistry, Physiology, Dental Anatomy, etc...). You won't cover those in detail, if at all, during your third year.
