what kind of class rank/nbde 1 do you need for endo.

I have been getting mixed feedback regarding this at school and I thought maybe some stuff was published. I'm just 1d but I would like to keep my options open. I know its not as hard as ortho but I am trying to figure out what range the academic indicators fall into.

I do know that endo departments like to take people who have been out of school for a couple of years.

I think getting into endo right out of school is harder than getting into ortho. After a gpr that's a different story. At least from my school, the lowest class rank that's ever gotten into endo right out of school since I've been in school is 5/73. Usually its top 3. And everyone I know whose gotten in has had a master's degree as well, either earned before dschool or during (like one in oral biology--you can get that at my school during dschool if you work extra hard). Lowest board of anyone I know getting in right out of school is a 94. I've been following endo applicants and acceptances from my school since before I started.

After a gpr I've heard of people not even in the upper 1/2 of their class getting in, with boards scores well below 90.
