Hi all,

Does anyone know the difference between paper version vs. computer version on part I NBDE? In addition, which version is better for the test taker?

Thanks

I'm not sure which is better. This is the last year that our school is offering the "paper" version. I actually like taking paper based exams better since I can write on the booklet. On the computer exam you can "flag" questions you want to go back to look at, kind of like the DAT. But I'm not sure which one I am taking yet. Anyone else have any insight?

I took the board last Dec on computer and loved it. The test center provided snacks, coffee, juices, locker, microwaves and fridge for my lunch. High resolution and 19 inch monitor with super fast computer had made the test easy to read and navigate. I took several quick breaks for water without worry of disturbing other people. I would recommend computer test for everybody.

From what I heard, there are more repeats on the paper version. The computer version is better if you just wanna pass, and not concern about about getting a very high score. The paper version has more repeats, but since most people have seen these questions, it's harder to separate yourself from the rest of the pack.
