How do we restore root caries passed CEJ in proximal areas:
Occlusal (like a class II slot prep)
Buccal/Lingual
Mesial/Distal

Not sure, but think it is M/D, because if patient has this kind of caries, then they have gum recession and defect should be visible and accessible

Thank you;
(Modified widman flap versus Vertical incision) what are the main differences between the two!

If the patient swallow the crown or the crown get lost do we change the patient position:
upright
supine
Trendelenburg position

last question The Face divided into equal fifths? yes/no
if yes why the pic on Moseby page 84 there is only 3 horizontal lines as 1/3?

Any body????

Patient position - upright
Never heard about fifths, only thirds. Not sure
Google MWF and you will see the difference

Thank you!!!

Vertical fifths. The eye usually measures one-fifth the width of the face.
Horizontal facial thirds. These thirds define the upper lip, lower lip, and chin.

First, the rule of thirds: A well-portioned face may be divided into equal thirds by drawing horizontal lines through the forehead hairline, the brow, the base of the nose, and the edge of the chin. Second, the rule of fifths: A proportionate face may be divided vertically into fifths, each approximately the width of one eye.

Found it in OMS journal. In Moseby the book pic is correct the wording is wrong.

In MWF do we use Vertical incision or not?
MWF is not for pocket reduction but Vertical incision is so I am not clear between these two flaps.

What is faster and easier to achieve using ortho treatments: intrusion or extrusion?

If you know the answers post them please. If you have questions ask them 🙂
