what are the chances of getting admission with 77 scores in nbde part 1.pls advice me what should i do ,should i prepare for part 2?

Study for your part 2... whether you get admission or not, you will have to give this exam, so why wait... give the exam...you dnt hv to look down upon your score, you hv cleared a big exam....be proud of yourself... scores arent the only thing schools look at... and they are aware tht its just a one time attempt.. build up your resume, do shadowing, do volunteering, if you arent able to collect too many hrs due to already started cycle, at least be in a position to mention that you are doin it this many hrs since this date..... practice your hand skills....there's muchj to do... nbde high score is not the sole criteria for any school, if it was, why wud they interview people with highest scores known...remember those who score above 90 are also interviewed, they arent simply offered acceptance letter....

thanks 4 ur reply ,it means alot to me,my gpa is also too low,n nbdepart1 score 77,not taken toefel yet ,i m really disappointed ,i dont think i ll b able to score high in part2.i dont have confidence now cos i did hard work for part1 but still cudnt score gud.tell me what to do n how?what is shadowing means?

how can you think tht u cannot get high.... you wud score according to your intellect.. you woked hard, you know it, you passed, be proud, crowd of people fail this exam.... it has gone tougher in last one year. gone are the days when people appeared again again and agin to reach to 90.....no one wud tell you about their real methods.. and dont rely on sdn scenario.. everyone writes their scores here above 90 .. but i have been to couple of interview in best of the schools.. i cudnt find so many 90's.. the real picture is different.... sdn has an unusually high score while ADA surveys of their applicant for exams dnt have tht much.....

study well for toefl for 15 days... do ample mock tests on internet at ets website.... you wud score well.. anything near 100 is ok...
part 2, common you are a dentist, believe in yourself....start with mosby+decks in month 1 and 2.... then do questions fromwherever you get eg kaplan, first q bank, released papers etc in month 3..... on 91st day give the exam....
meanwhile google for your local volunteer opportunities in dental/medical field, email them a nice letter , attach your resume, request for volunteering...
also make a list of dentists in your 20 mile radius finding on google, mostly have email id or phone numbers.... better is email them a letter with resume asking an opportunity to shadow i.e. observorship...... in this you just go dentist's clinic, see things around, observe the procedures, help the office/assistants in some way.... keep doing until you gather abt 100 hours of observorship......in the end, the dentist will write you a letter of recommendation which is very useful wen u apply...

so i wud ask you to really work more hard, dnt lose patience.....

how people calculate percentile?what will b the percentile in my case as comp score 77?my comprehensive gpa is below 2.

as far as my comp score is 77 ,what would b percentile?
pls suggest me should i apply wid part1 score ?as u said u know people in nova wid 76 score n people wid colorado wid 79 score.

in caapid you can update your toefl score anytime.... submit your application. the furst dealine for you falls in august.. so you wud hve toefl score by then. at least send in your application early mentioning tht toefl is planned
