Hi everybody,

I am in a quandary. I got a 78 on Part I of the NBDE. I have a 3.8 GPA, TOEFL 119, as well as a few awards and honors to my credit.
I know my scores are low, but I don't want to wait a whole another year before I can apply to any schools. I am retaking the exam in Dec/Jan, but my question to you is: do you think I should apply anyway to NYU for this cycle? Or am I just wasting a $100?

Thanks!

I would definetely give it a try...
100 bucks is nothing compared to how much money you are going to spend total anyways! Plus.. if you get in, it will be nothing compared to a whole year out of school!

hi there
I would give it a shot, you don't want to regret not giving this chance to yourself🙂

Hi there!!!DEFINITELY YOU SHOULD TRY...100 bucks is nothing and is you get in remember that is one year less tht you would have to wait to try again and that you could be already working as a Dentist....👍

Thanks a lot folks! All this encouragement really has helped boost my morale. I really appreciate your replies! And good luck to you too!
