I just got into a dental school and was thinking about how to spend my time until orientation productively and I think that studying for NBDE1 ahead of time is the answer.

Do you guys think it's a good idea?
And what are the study aids for NBDE1?
Are there some useful ones like DAT destroyer, Kaplan BB, Topscore... for DAT?

The general recommendation on SDN is to relax before you get into dental school. You have two years before you have to start studying for the boards. What you learn now, you'll forget in a month. As far as the rest of your questions, feel free to take a look at the other 100's of posts below yours and read up on the boards. Everything from review materials, to study tips, has already been discussed ad nauseum. Once you've done your research, and you still have questions, feel free to post them here.
