just wanted to let everyone know nbme 19 is out. whose gonna take it!!

i took step 1 last week and now i wish i had waited 10 days to take 19 and see weaknesses. although my step didnt seem hard, maybe i should be happy cause everyday is different!

i still want to take 19, i know im weird

How was your experience with step 1?
I'm sitting for it Monday the 13th. How'd it compare to the other nbmes/uworld?

very similar to nbmes especially 15-18. mine was closest to nbme 16.

the exam had some very similar almost identical questions to nbme's which is why i say make sure you do them all and find right answers for yourself.

do the usmle free 120, very similar in terms of difficulty for 85-90% of exam, i had 2-3 exact repeats

uworld for me felt harder and trickier. you dont get the feeling that step 1 or nbme are tricking you. question style definitely nbme. overall questions a little longer as well. however questions will feel familiar to uworld as in what there looking for as an answer.

practice timing and breaks for test day. i fell short on one block cause i lost track otherwise i always had 2-3 mins to skim marked questions. stay calm and focus on doing your best on each question. confidence is key.

maybe 10 questions on whole exam i had no idea, otherwise i felt very comfortable and happy
