EcoRI cleaves H. influenza strand into smaller fragments, but does not cleave E. coli strand. Why?

A. Methylation of E. coli DNA
B. Methylation of H. inf dna
C. Presence of introns in E. coli Dna
D. Presence of introns in H. inf dna
E. Presence of transposons in E. coli dna
F. Presence of transposons in H. inf dna

Can anyone please explain the process?

Thanks!

Methylation of E.coli's DNA protects it from enzyme digestion by restriction enzymes.
This is how bacteria protects itself in nature against enzymes they make to kill virses.
