there was a question that read: Certain chromosomal abmlties can result in rudimentary development of the cerebral hemispheres. HWich of the following labled structures in the cross section of a normal brain stem is expected to be most underdeveloped as a result of such anomaly?

shows a picture of brainstem X-section and with different parts as answer choices..

Anybody remember this one? tia.

i think it was holoprosencephaly
and the answer was corticospinal tracts

I got that I had to find where the corticospinal tracts were but I didn't know where they were at the level of the medulla, in the pyramids. That was a tough question I thought. 🙄
